A worn out front straight axle system with an after market power steering add-on gave way to an independent power rack and pinion front end from Total Cost Involved. Included with the kit were front disc brakes. A dual master power brake system along with all the hydraulic lines was added also. With the new front end lowering the truck approximately 4 inches the rear shackles were lengthened and two spring leaves removed to give it the proper ride and ride height.
